How To Order Cymbals
CymbalChoice lets you choose exact cymbals by their individual sound. We record every individual cymbal, so when you order from CymbalChoice.com, you will receive the exact cymbals you hear in our recordings. Since we record each cymbal, you may notice minor stick marks on the cymbals you buy. All of our cymbals are brand new and only played minimally when recorded. We do not sell floor samples, B-stock or used products. We are an authorized dealer and everything we sell is brand new and only played to be recorded.
Since each cymbal is unique and each is recorded, you can select the precise sounds you want and easily combine cymbals to make a musical set to your liking. We have certain features that help you get your exact tone:
1. Use the Compare feature to listen to cymbals side by side. Click “Add to compare” and your selections will be added to your list. Click the Compare button in the margin to see your selections side by side. Be sure to allow pop-ups to utilize the Compare feature.
2. Add to Cart to reserve your cymbals. When you click “Add to cart,” the cymbals you place in the cart will be automatically removed from the website - they are in your cart and reserved for you to purchase. The cymbals in your shopping cart will no longer be visible on the website, so no one else can order them. You can still see the cymbals in your shopping cart, but you won’t see them on the site if they’re in your cart.
3. Checkout within 6 hours to get your choices. After 6 hours of inactivity, your shopping session is canceled. Any cymbals in your shopping cart will be removed from your cart. They will be available on the website again. Checkout within 6 hours to keep your selections. If you are not sure, copy the item numbers so you can find them again later.
Once you have made your selections, click “proceed to checkout” and complete all of the checkout steps. Payments are processed securely through Authorize.net or PayPal. Authorize.net is one of the world's leading secure payment gateways. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. You can also choose PayPal and pay with your PayPal account or credit card. International customers are recommended to checkout with PayPal.
After you place an order, you will see a "success" message on the screen. You will also receive an email order confirmation. Please check your spam folder if you do not see the email. Orders take up to 1 full day to process and will ship by the next business day. Orders are processed Monday - Friday only. Orders placed Friday, Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday.
We ship UPS and you pay only the actual shipping cost. We do not offer free shipping because the cost varies from place to place. We ship from our shop in Northern California.
All orders billed or shipped within California will be charged 7.25% sales tax. Orders outside California will not be charged tax. International orders may be responsible for import duty and VAT according to your country’s import regulations.
Credit Card Declines
If you receive an on screen message that your credit card has been declined, that message has been relayed from your credit card company. Declines are always issued by your bank, not our web system. If you receive an on screen message that says AVS mismatch, please enter the address exactly as it appears on your credit card statement. If your credit card has been declined due to CCV mismatch, please check the 3 number security code on your card. If your card has been declined for any other reason, please call the number on the back of your credit card and ask them why it has been declined. If it is a security measure, you can ask your bank to clear the security hold. Then submit your order again.
Please do not submit your order multiple times if it is declined. Multiple order submissions will trigger security safegaurds which will block your transaction. If you get blocked, contact me to remove the block.
We do not share any personal information under any circumstances. Your personal information is used only to process your order. Your personal information is never shared or sold. Credit card information is not retained by our system. No human ever sees your credit card number - only the last 4 digits are ever visible. You will only be charged for the orders you place. It is not possible for your credit card to be charged except when you click to place your order. Your name, address, phone and email address are stored in your account and can be changed or deleted by you at any time by logging in with your password. Personal information is not stored locally and is never shared for any reason.
Orders may be returned in new condition within 30 days for refund. Returns are accepted for products in new condition only. We do not ship cymbals to test the sound or try them out. Cymbals returned with a lot of stick marks or other signs of use will not be accepted. Please choose carefully by previewing the sound samples with headphones. We record every cymbal so you can choose exactly what you like. You will receive the exact cymbals in the recordings.
If there is a problem with your order and it needs to be returned for any reason, please contact us first to receive a return authorization number. Upon receipt of your return, the cymbals will be inspected and a refund issued by the original payment method. Refunds are issued within 3-5 days after receiving the return. It may take longer to see the refund on your credit card statement. Shipping fees are not refundable.
